Built as Milwaukee Road 1834 in October, 1951, as part of the railroad’s third order, for five units. It was renumbered Milwaukee Road 716 in September, 1959, and renumbered Milwaukee Road 746 in November, 1965. It was retired in April, 1976, and scrapped at the Milwaukee shops in September of the same year.
