Alco 640-2 > Union Pacific 675 > MLW 675 > Devco 214

Built in December, 1959, as Alco 640-2, one of five RS27 demonstrators. It became Union Pacific 675 in September, 1961, along with Alco 640-3 to 640-5. It was retired March, 1971, and sold to Strobell (dealer), who resold it to the Montreal Locomotive Works for their lease fleet, becoming MLW 675. It was sold to Devco Railway 214 in March, 1975, hauling coal in Nova Scotia. It was scrapped in 1984.
