Tennessee Valley Authority 24 was used at the Gallatin, Tennessee, steam plant, switching coal hoppers from the plant to the Louisville & Nashville interchange four miles away.
The unit was never equipped with multiple unit capabilities or dynamic brakes. It was still working at the same location as of 2008, on display. It was renumbered F3060 at some point.
